STONEHILL FMA MEMBERSHIP

Our Chapter welcomes all Stonehill students, regardless of major, that have an interest in learning about business, the finance industry and most important, in developing leadership and professional skills.
  We look for members that want to take an active role in their personal development while maintaining the high standards of the chapter and its outstanding record of achievement at a national level.

Member participation requirements include:

  • Most any member of the Stonehill community is eligible to become a member.  Students, faculty members, and university financial officers shall constitute the membership.

  • The qualifications for "Active Membership" into the Stonehill FMA chapter shall include submission of application and payment of dues to the FMA, International. 

  • In order to be an “Active Member”, one must attend at least three meetings/events per semester over the two most recent semesters.

FMA International MEMBERSHIP

Members of the FMA International include finance practitioners, academicians and students who are interested in the techniques and advances which define the field of finance.  Consistent with this mission, the members of FMA share the following values and beliefs:

  • Respect, understanding, and appreciation of the diverse needs and interests of others are necessary to achieve mutually beneficial interaction among academicians, practitioners and students.

  • Free and open discourse and interaction among academician, practitioners, and students are essential to the origination and evaluation of new ideas and the improvement of financial decision making.

  • Open governance, broad-based participation, and continuous improvement in quality of services are critical to achieving FMA International’s mission.
